Design & Development of a PVT 5X Concentrator with a Tracking System for Cogeneration of Heat and Electricity
English Abstract
A PVT system is a (photovoltaic + solar thermal) hybrid system which provides up to 4 times the total energy from the same surface area. Moreover, it reduces the operating temperature of the PV modules and thereby improves the electrical performance and provides process heating. The 5X concentrator is an integration of several innovative proprietary technologies, such as 5X geometrical solar concentration design, high temperature encapsulant output, solar tracking, bifacial receiver concentration and PV panel cooling.

نظام ال PVT هو نظام (كهروضوئي + شمسي حراري) مختلط يوفر ما يصل إلى 4 مرات مجموع الطاقة من منطقة سطح واحد. علاوة على ذلك ، فإنه يقلل من درجة حرارة التشغيل في الوحدات الكهروضوئية وبالتالي يحسن الأداء الكهربي و يوفر التدفئة العملية. أما المكثف الخماسي هو عبارة عن دمج لعدة تكنولوجيات خاصية مبتكرة ، مثل تصميم هندسي تركيز للطاقة الشمسية 5 اضعاف، وارتفاع درجة الحرارة الناتجة، وتتبع مسار الشمس، تركيز ثنائي الوجهين للسطح المتلقي و تبريد لللوحة الكهروضوئية.
